Amid the clear, winter fields defined by shadows from streams of sunlight, a cabin is warmed with a cozy fireplace.   Wet-into-wet, stippling, pen painting and dry brushing all help to create this seasonal scene.  

  The days begin and end with darkness. And throughout the day, shadow’s work is showing the movement of the sun. Shadows also help predict upcoming weather, but it’s most beautiful of traits are its patterns of design.   Clean color, dry brush, pen work and masking all work toward creating this piece.  

  As clouds lift, the sea pulls out to low tide. The after-storm light casts a warm glow.   We’ll use all our watercolor painting techniques to create this mood-filled painting.
