Afternoon light streams across the landscape, framed by a wonderful old Sycamore tree. Careful drawing, wet-into-wet, color lifting, dry brush, and pen painting are a few of the techniques we’ll use to create this autumnal scene.
Trees in haze and rock patterns pull us into this project. Flat washes, pen painting and dry brush textures make up the working method of this New England scene.
Morning awakes us with an early surprise: a light snowfall, clean & crisp. What a welcome expression of the freshness of winter. To create this challenging project, we will enjoy using all our watercolor painting techniques.
