Looking across the jetty at Motif #1 brings back thoughts of the North Shore’s history.   Salting, wet-into-wet, dry brush and pen painting are a few of the techniques we’ll use to bring this scene to life.

  Trees in haze and rock patterns pull us into this project. Flat washes, pen painting and dry brush textures make up the working method of this New England scene.  

Morning awakes us with an early surprise: a light snowfall, clean & crisp. What a welcome expression of the freshness of winter.   To create this challenging project, we will enjoy using all our watercolor painting techniques.
