October Gold Workshop

A clean, crisp October day allows unfiltered light to create a magic golden glow. No breeze disturbs the radiant foliage.
This painting starts out with natural sponge stamping from yellow to orange. Only the sky blue patches of gouache can hold contrast against the yellow-gold canopy supported by dark, wet trees. Pen painting and stippling add the finishing details to this fall scene.
So that you can enjoy painting even while we’re asked to stay at home, an emailed packet for this painting with instructions will be available as a paint-at-home project. Price upon request.
